| Fairly hard route, several tough climbs with gradients up to 18 percent. Very scenic taking in Widecombe valley, Teign Valley and Haldon Hill. | |

| Big Peaks bike shop in Ashburton, passes through Chagford for a coffee and cake stop, also facilities at top of Haldon Hill. Toilets at Widecombe, Chagford, Haldon and Bovey Tracey. Nearly all B roads. The last section back into Asburton is not on the A38 as it appears on the plot, there's a cycle path alongside the road which the mapping doesn't pick up. |
