Hi keep getting punctures what are the most resistant road tyres

I'm currently using Continental GP4000 special edition white - not cheap

they seem to wear very quickly - only had them 2 months and had to put the back on on the front to even the wear

I had the same problem on the B roads in Suffolk and Cambridgeshire. After doing some reseach I found that the tire should be inflated to Max PSI and also the 25c tire were recommended. I hope this help.

I currently inflate to 100 - 110 though I gather they can go to 125psi

and I have 23c's not 25's for

My bike came with Continental Ultra's and they seemed to just fall apart on the 15 mile journey I do into town every day. The Specialized Armadillo's are what I'm running on now, and they seem to be able to take a fairly hefty battering. Especially considering the shocking state of the roads since the bad weather we had through the winter.

Eventually bought the Bontranger lite hardcase so far so good but a big difference with drag compared to the Gp4000's - kept thinking i had the brakes on

Am just about to replace my Schwalbe Blizzard Sports after 18 months of commuting and weekend rides. They were only £15 for the pair and have been fantastic tyres in all weathers. Will be buying the same again.
