A pretty, nice easy road ride, on a variety of road classes, with a couple of nice climbs to get the legs working.
The route heads round by Bexley, Willington and Hawley, where the Hawley Road (A225) can be a bit arduous if the wind is up. Then you turn off the A225 to Horton Kirby. The stretch between Horton Kirby and Crockenhill is the nicest bit of the ride, and also offers a chance to stop at the Lion Hotel Pub in Farningham, which is about the halfway point. From Farningham head to Crockenhill and Sidcup. |
