This is a very picturesque, road route, mainly on country lanes.
Leave the town, on the B3075, go across the causeway and into Stobrough village. Take the next right into West Lane and proceed to the end, where you will meet Wareham bye-pass, A351. Turn left and proceed for 200 hundred yards, then turn right into West Lane/Grange Road. Follow this road for 750 yards, then turn right into Holme Lane. Follow this until it crosses the B3070 and head towards East Stoke and Wool village. Before East Stoke you will see a sign to Highwood, on your left, take this turn. Follow this road until it becomes a track into the woods. Having had a nice little run out, sit down and have a drink, before retracing your route back to Wareham. |
