Cycle Steps
The route starts by cutting through Esher Common to Cobham, then past the church and the Plough along the Lanes to the Semaphore Tower. Up onto the abandoned airfield at Wisley and along to the Risley junction on the A3. Under the A3 and turn down Mill lane and follow the track to the Wey Navigation. Turn left and follow the Navigation to Guidford and on to Seaford. Turn on to the A286 for a short distance and turn left following the Sustrans Route 22 signs. We are now on the Down Link path and follow this to Beeding on the South Downs. Just south of Beeding turn left on to the South Downs Way and follow this to the Devil's Dyke car park. Finally, follow Devil's Dyke Rd down hill into Brighton. The majority of the route is flat and easy going on good quality paths. The section of the South Downs Way is quite steep in places and a rougher surface.
