I ride from Bury St Ives to work. The route shown is the worst of the 3 that I use - the traffic is horrendous. I use a section of the route shown when I go by car from Bury to Peterborough - again, the traffic is horrendous. This is a really poor route. For good riding in this area, ride to the left of the A1 (the Giddings etc) - there are excellent quiet roads there
