Varied route passing through a number of towns as well as high downland with great views. A long day one-way, or for a shorter trip the Wantage-Devizes section is particularly good.
Some big roads especially between Devizes and Melksham but in the main quiet stuff. Big hill just outside Wantage and another out of Bradford-on Avon. You may want to pick up the canal path for the last stretch into Bath - very pretty and not too bumpy. |
