| This is a great route for general touring the Northants/Oxon/Bucks country villiages and its virtualy traffic free country lanes with no major climbs. The route does have a bit of a climb when you reach Weebon Beck and head torwards Farthingstone. Once you are past Farthingstone there are mainly slight gradients and easy rolling roads. NB:Junctions to take care on 1) Crossing over A45 at Flore 2)Turning Right on to the A5 at Stowe Hill 3)The round about on the A43 at the Charlton/Evenley Junction 4)Turning right off the A5 at the Shutlanger/Stoke Bruerne Junction 5) crossing A508 at Aston/Stoke Bruerne junction. 6) the Bedford Rd roundabout (traffic light controlled ,but there's an cycle path alternative) |
