| Nice off-road route from Fallowfield to the off-road unnofficial viewing area at John Lennon Airport, Speke, Liverpool. Uses mainly the Trans Pennine trail and Bridgewater and Sankey Canal towpaths. The trail can be very muddy between Altrincham and Warrington and summer 2008 was unusable by narrow road tyres. |

| Landmarks/Pubs for lunch/Sites to see? |
Bike shop near Lymm is on the trail by a small mini supermarket for food. The ride passes by Fiddlers Ferry pub near the Fiddlers Ferry power station, a major landmark, the cooling towers are visible for miles around. You also pass under the Runcorn suspension bridge another major landmark. At the finish you are under the flight path of lots of Easy Jet flights being only yards from touchdown.
