Hi, even on a day when the weather is wet and windy the scenery here is beautiful it takes the pain out of the hills if you start from Cockerham the hard work is inthe 1st half. I have done it now for the 2nd year and although I live locally I passed through th most picturesque village and even got a cup of tea and piece of cake-can't be bad, eh!!
