A round trip from Kirkby along the East Lancs (A580) which has a good cycle path. Then onto the Rainford bypass(A570) which again has a good cycle path up to Liverpool road (A506) and back through Maghull to Kirkby.
A relatively easy route but once you get onto the Rainford bypass its quite a nice country ride.
