This route has a bit of everything, from riverside paths to A roads.
It starts at the Eros Roundabout (on A585) and heads out on the Fleetwood Road (B5268) through Little Thornton and onto the B5439. Turn off onto Hillylaid Road and on to Raikes Road until it meets the B5412. Turn left to Skipool. Turn left into Wrye Road and follow this up through the Boat Yard onto a Path, which runs behind the old ICI Plant. Follow this Path along the River Wyre until it terminates at the tip. Turn left and head over the disused railway line and through a Wooded Path, back onto the main road. Follow this back onto the Fleetwood Road (B5268) and the Eros Roundabout. |
