| I followed this route having just gotten back into the saddle after ten odd years! I did it on a mountain bike with road tyres. It all went to plan, until the section along the train track that had been closed by the council for some time. I found myself getting lost and bogged down among the many forks in Harlestone Furs. The only way to continue was via a bridleway through the golf course and then through the course entrance to Church Brampton. In future I will bypass the whole section continuing through Mill Lane, left at Cock Hotel Junction and bear left to the Harbourough Road towards Church Brampton. This will add a little distance but be mud free! no need for nobbly rubber. All in all a good low traffic ride in under 2 hrs. Many thanks, Steve. | ||
