This is my commute. Sometimes I'll start by going south of Chiswick House on Stavely Road, then left, across the A316, up Grantham Road, then up towards Chiswick Mall.
At Hammersmith I keep south of the A4 until the crossing under the flyover on the South East corner of the gyratory. Then along the cycle lane to the Novotel and left up to Hammersmith Road.
Then it's straight up Kensingtom High Street, into the Park just after the Palace Avenue. Dismount here (or carry on down the A315 for another 100m or so and enter the park on the cycle lane).
Then it's through the park to HPC, after which you can use cycle lanes parallel to Constitution Hill and the Mall. On the road to St Paul's, then cut through St. Pauls Churchyard to get to Cheapside, then Bank, then you're there. |
