A costal route from Bournemouth to Brighton.

It is a proposed route for myself and some friends to complete this summer, this difficulty is currently unkown but we expect it to be strenuos throughout for leisurely riders like ourselves with various hilly part and some long downhills. Great views throughout the ride and some picturesque photo opportunities.

Like I say this is only a proposed route and we would be happy to make further comments on the route upon completion. Happy riding.

To avoid Southampton/Portsmouth you could use the following rough directions (part of one day 210 miler I did from Bournemouth to Sandwich (Kent)

B'mth ->Ringwood->Linwood (top of New Forest - not too steep a climb)->Romsey
->Bishop's Waltham (avoiding Eastleigh /Chandler's Ford) -> West/East Meon (via gentle climb)
-> base of South Downs -->>Storrington
->Steyning->Shoreham->Brighton (avoiding Worthing etc) or...

..cut through South Downs towards Chichester from Bishop's Waltham via Hambledon & Clanfield

Hope that helps

Mark
