| 1. Hilly 88, Easy to Llangadog then 8.5 mile climb to top of Black mountain, easy until you go over the cattle grid then 3 m hard. Descend to Ystradgynlias then climb over Colbren and drop into Glyneath. climb up to the Rhigos and drop into Treorchy. climb 4 miles out of Treorchy then descnd all the way to Pontrydyfen, hard short climb then descned into Neath. Climb over to Swansea Valley then to Morriston and climb vicarage road onto Tircoed village. do not do if a frost is about and take plenty of food and drink. the climbs and descents are long. |
