| A nice loop to clear the morning cobwebs. The route starts with gentle uphill disused railway track then across main road to quiet farm lanes. A short single track leads to The Halo (panopticon) in Haslingden. The return is similar but then follows the Kings Highway, a mixture of farm lanes and singletrack. A good downhill section on fairly rough road towards the bypass. After going under the road a fairly bumpy road down to town and back to the start. |
