road bike-friendly routes in Gtr Manchester

Joined: 18 Sep 2012 Posts: 1 Bike: | Hi there Firstly, I'm brand-new here, so be gentle :-) I have recently bought a road bike and was wondering what the best routes were in greater Manchester that don't go off road. I'm liking to do some relatively long distances but need to know my road bike will be safe on the surface also, I'm looking to get involved with the Manchester club, but cannot access the website Any suggestions would be very much appreciated Adam |

I have a hybrid which copes well on the roads although puncture resistant tyres are helpful.
