Sunderland to Whitby

Joined: 19 May 2016 Posts: 1 Bike: | Hi Iam just wondering if anyone has cycled to whitby from Sunderland and which route you take after you reach Thorpe Thewles on cycle route 1. I have tried to map it and after route 1 I think I would take route 65 to get to route 52 w2w to whibty, there is also a route 165 to whitby too, I am rather confused as to which route to take.
