Cycling down the Moselle Valley (France, Germany and Luxembourg)

Joined: 25 May 2009 Posts: 7 Bike: My Profile | A friend and I are considering cycling down the Moselle valley in late June/early July. We are currently thinking of starting in France (possibly at Metz although we may opt to start further down the river, as the initial stretch looks a bit "industrial") and taking a fairly leisurely journey down to Koblenz at the Moselle's confluence with the Rhine. We will take our own bikes and equipment and will either camp or use B&Bs. Has anyone done this recently? If so, any tips would be much appreciated. Thanks |
