This is a road route, mainly on rolling country lanes, but with some short sections of A and B roads, that has climbs and descents, but is suitable for intermediate riders.
The route starts in Wye, taking in the rolling country lanes along the foot of the North Downs. It then goes under the M20, across to Lympne and a steep descent onto the flat but windy roads across Romney Marsh. This ends with a final ascent back towards the Downs. The route passes a number of Kentish churches, many of which are centuries old. Most of the roads are quiet and in a lovely rural and coastal setting. |
