| Woodley to Eversley circular via Shinfield, Spencers Wood and Heckfield on the way out. Via Finchampsted Ridges and Bearwood on the return leg. Some very steep hills around the Finchampsted Ridges, but otherwise fairly easy going. Mainly main roads, but lots of quiet country lanes too. |

| I rode it this afternoon. It was quite a nice run and I will likely ride it again. The description was accurate and the route was easy to follow. I rode around rush hour on a Friday and the traffic wasn't too bad even on the busier roads. I had to deviate from the route a couple of times. Once due to road works in Reading and another time because the route goes straight ahead at a left-turn only junction. If I wasn't riding at rush hour I probably could have gone straight but it was crossing one of the busier roads on the route so I decided to turn left. There was a roundabout nearby to turn around so it didn't really matter. In retrospect I would have turned right at the roundabout. The route leads onto that road anyway but cuts a corner by going straight ahead. The second half seemed to be hillier than the first so I can't help but think that it would be easier going clockwise. There were plenty of pubs along the way to stop at if you're out looking for Sunday lunch. Thanks for posting | ||
