| This is a road route, mainly on B roads, which starts hilly, but flattens out for the majority of the ride. From the Wye Inn on Holme Lacy Road, B4399, to Holme Lacy, the road is hilly, however, after Mordiford it is quite flat. Although this route can get busy with cars, if caught at the right time it can also be a pleasent ride through lovely countryside. There are also river views, with 3 river bridge crossings that are ideal for photo snaps. |

| To the side of Mordiford bridge there is a lovely picnic spot. The Bunch of Carrots at Hampton Bishop is well known for its sunday carvery. You can divert off the route, through Hereford, to pass by Hereford Cathedral. Another photo opportunity. |
