This is a mixed route of disused railway track, lanes and roads, which is hilly in places.
You start on disused railway and lanes up past Rudyard Lake to Rushton Spencer, then its quiet lanes to Congleton. This is hilly in places. From Congleton to Biddulph there is a bit of main road, A527, then there is a steep climb, on quiet roads to the top of Lask Edge. Finally, you retrace the route on lanes and disused railway back to Leek. |
