Just past Fyfield church on the road to Willingale there is a large lay-by to park in and unload your bike, or Fyfield itself has plenty of places to park and a nice pub!
This route takes you through the beautiful Essex villages of Roxwell and Pleshey and almost all of it is on lanes and back roads.
There is a short distance on an A-road, - this is not too busy, but obviously you have to take care.
There are a few hills but nothing too steep or too long - mostly just dropping down to streams and brooks and climbing up away from them. |
