| Pleasant 50 mile ride through a mixture of quiet country lanes and fairly quiet B roads. You could carry on at Ditchling over the Beacon to Brighton, but this route avoids a tough hill and busy traffic into Brighton. Easy to pre book a £3 single fare back to Caterham or London from Lewes on Southern Railway website. |
