| This a regular winter training route I use. It's relatively flat, good for moderate paced recover rides or for putting the hammer down. It's very quiet except for the last few miles on the Drayton Road and that's not too bad outside rush hour. There are lots of farms on the route and the roads can get v.muddy in the early winter but it's beautiful landscape particularly early morning. |

There is a pub on the junction where you cross A420 from Besselsleigh Road, one in Charney Bassett and a few others along the way but no shops that I have noticed.
