My Profile
my brother is doing this, and had major spinal surgery last week.

He says that the usual log-jam of cyclists trying to get out of London-village will stop him piling on the pressure too much!

Hi Sonic,

Is it too late to join your team.
I live in the North London area, not too far on the train. I am also training for the Etape Challenge a bit late in the year so I can do with the training.

Thanks

Evening. AZre there still ways of registering or entering despite the fact that general registration is now closed?

I didn't register in time as I've been out the country while studying.

I dont know if my last message sent properly but apologies if it did.

How do these team subscriptions work? I didnt register in time for this year but really want to partake. Is there any way of still taking part?

Chris

I'm kind of a newbie and am doing the L2B for the first time this year. I'm currently doing 30 mile rides, but would like to buddy up with anyone training for this in the Maidenhead area.

Hi,

Does anyone know of any other way of getting hold of tickets or is anyone not able to take part anymore?

I will gladly refund them their monies for the privilege.

Regards and thanks

hi, im doing it this year! i live in luton, was worried i wouldnt get in firs time after hearing of many peoples attempts of getting in but not making it through registration and being forced to wait a year. if anyone is wanting to cycle alongside our trio who has a similar start time, wouldnt mind meeting and chatting to some fellow cyclists out there... not sure of my start time yet but we are supposed to be informed soon. look out for us- ninja-ish characters in neon colours and black. bandannas, tabi boots, shurikens and toy katanas lol.

I'm toying with the idea of doing L2B on a little girls bike. This is what I am thinking:

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=170641749671&ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT

The reason: for fun and to have something interesting and whacky to talk about with my fitness boot camp members. I've not bought it yet, but will be looking to get it later tonight or one similar.

I don't cycle much, but I'm quite fit as personal trainer. I suspect my hip flexors will take a beating on the ride. Have I bitten off more than I can chew?

Cheers,

Gavin

Hey everyone,

I completely missed the deadline for the payment, and now I don't have a space! :(

I don't suppose anyone has a spare space? I'm willing to pay the fee of what it orginally cost :)

Thanks,

Amber

Hi,

Planning is not my strong point, so have left this too late.

I'm desperately wanting to do the ride and will pay full fee. Please contact me on 07882893997 or dan@london2capetown.net if anyone has a ticket they want to get rid of or cannot make the ride anymore.

Thanks,

Dan Perrin
