cycling on Skye

Joined: 25 Mar 2010 Posts: 1 Bike: | My pal is coming from the US in May and we would like to do a few days cycling on Skye.We plan to take the train from Glasgow to Kyle of Lochalsh.We are easy going non- mountain bikers.Can someone give me a route that would incorporate some nice scenery and a good day of cycling.Also some ideas on places to stay along the way ? sheila |

The A87 is the main road up and down Skye so it is busy at times, but not horrendous. However if you can get onto the A855 and cycle up round the north coast. |
