Touring Northern Ireland in September

Joined: 02 Mar 2015 Posts: 4 Bike: | Hi In September this year my son and I plan to do a cycle tour of Northern Ireland (we cycled the Camino last year!) There’d just be us two, perhaps bringing our own road bikes into Belfast by air from Inverness/London. We have a week available and would want to visit the Pomeroy area of Tyrone in particular (where my McCourt ancestors came from)and perhaps Carrigart (where my wife’s great grandfather was buried after he perished in a fishing boat accident in 1912). Hostel and B&B accomodation would be our choice – modest budget. Any help or advice would be welcomed. Slainté Tez |
