Route 66 information

Joined: 25 Mar 2014 Posts: 2 Bike: | Hi, I'm looking at spending a few days cycling the route 66 cycle path from Manchester to hull. I live on the canal at the Manchester end and have been as far as tournoient in the past. Information seems scarce so I was wondering if anyone had done it or had any info? Thanks Daz |

Joined: 17 Oct 2009 Posts: 98 Bike: My Profile | Daz, When you say ' tournoient ' do you mean Todmorton If so that part of Route 66 ends at Brighouse it does then get confusing because 66 then runs south east from leeds to hull and other short sections of route 66 Bradford to Drewsbury moor http://www.sustrans.org.uk/ncn/map/route/route-66 you could try to Plan route using the site below - choosing ' quietest ' route after entering start & end points - then change to suit http://www.cyclestreets.net/journey/ I take it you mainly want the canal route - Do you need a GPX route for phone / Garmin. ?? |
