The St Malo to Lille cycle is from the 2nd - 7th September 2014 and is four days of cycling with varying distances from 74 to 108 miles per day. njoy cycling in France, but have already ticked London to Paris off your list then our four days of cycling from St Malo to Lille is the event for you. Covering around 360 miles this French cycling route takes you through some lovely areas of Northern France, some picturesque French towns and villages and stunning scenery both rural and historic. This event starts with an overnight ferry crossing from Portsmouth to St Malo then the cycling begins there with overnight stays are in Caen, Rouen, Amiens and Lille, returning on the Eurostar from Lille the following morning. The last day of the route cycles through some of the areas of WWI battlefields and memorial cemeteries and we also stop off at the famous Thiepval memorial. With 2014 marking 100 years since the start of WW1 this is a very poignant time to cycle through this area of France. You will be supported by an experienced team from Across the Divide which means you will be in safe hands from start to finish. You can sign-up to the is event just to take part or you can raise money for any charity of your choice. You will need to provide your own road bike.
