| This is a road route, mainly on country roads, that showcases the beautiful countryside to the South of Manchester. The route heads out of Wilmslow on the A538 and follows this to Lindow Common. At this point you turn left onto Racecourse Road and follow country roads through Lindow End, Little Warford, Marthall and on until the A50 junction. A quick left onto the A50 and a right off again changes you from heading in a southerly direction to heading in a northerly direction. This brings you on country roads through Peover Inferior, over the M6 twice and up into Knutsford. From Knutsford head up to Tatton Hall, where ther is a brief on and off the A5034. You then continue on country roads through Ashley and on until the A538 junction. Turn right onto the A538, go under the Manchester Airport Runways, and continue to the roundabout. at this point turn left onto country roads heading for Styal. At Styal turn right onto the B5166 and follow this back to the start point. |

| The route you have marked from lindow common doesn't exist. Took ages messing about finding a route today. so i just went down knutsford road instead to meet back up with the route. From there it is ok. | ||

| 2 sections of the route are offroad. The GPX file was therfore inacurate in these sections | ||
