This is a road route with truly amazing countryside and views. However, beware both Beacon Hill and Winchester Hill are 600+ climbs - so the novice cyclist may find them a bit of a strain.
Landmarks/Pubs for lunch/Sites to see?
Chase Cycles are just up the road from the start point. Two pubs in Waltham Chase itself, and the Hurdles about a third of the way round in Brockbridge is well worth a visit, but don't eat too much, as you'll still have those hills to climb!!
