Cycle Steps
This is a road route, on a mix of A and B roads and country lanes, with some challenging, but not too difficult climbs, that is suitable for all bike types.
Most of the ride is in beautiful countryside, whilst the last third is on busy main roads. There are some challenging climbs when circling the reservoirs, but nothing too difficult. The best time to do this ride is early in the morning or in the evening, as the traffic on the latter parts is not so bad. This is a good solid bike ride, with great views, that gives you a good workout.
Landmarks/Pubs for lunch/Sites to see?
The Carron Bridge inn is halfway round if you fancy stopping for a well-deserved pint.
