| Follow the canal down to littleborough turn right on to the (a) road then right at the bottom of the hill, follow the road all the way up the big hill, after catching ya breath at the top carry on past the reservoir then turn left keep on this road until Sowerby Bridge turn left at the juction and follow the road into Todmoden, as soon as you see the canal again get on the track then just follow this back into Littleborough then back into Rochdale | |

| A very good scenic route that can be taken at various paces, although you can get legged up on some of the busier parts of the canal towpath. As detailed in the map I took the shortcut alongside part of Halfax road but think I'm gonna take the road next time, as I struggled with rear wheel traction on some of the steeper sections. All- in- all a great route! | ||
