Pretty tough ride. took me just under 5 hours with a 30 minute stop in Sonning to eat. Mainly cycled country roads but detoured down a few bridleways and woodland paths. Had a lots of hills to climb and descend, often followed by a straight to recover. Lots to see in ways of nature and countryside. All in all a good ride. :)

Shops - few village shops and Reading Town centre obviosly has lots... but chose to avoid it.
Pubs - Lots! on average passed 1 every 20 minutes.
river paths - Thames + Kennet & Avon canal
