| 1. A circular ride going past Botley Hill, the highest point on the North Downs. Following country lanes upto Limpsfield Chart on the Green Sand Ridge and down Crockham Hill (where the National Trust started in Victorian times). Now head towards Westerham, pass close by the N.T.house of Chartwell. We stopped at the Westerham Cyclery,a great tearoom and bike shop. We then headed back via the Pilgrims Way to rejoin the outward route, and another 14k to return tp Purley | |
