| 1. Leaving Camperdown heading out the Coupar Angus Road through Birkhill, past Piperdam to the left turn for Inchture (this is mostly uphill), this takes you up to Littleton where there is a fast descent into Abernyte. Turn right at Abernyte for another uphill section to the left turning towards Balbeggie, follow this mostly flat road to the right turn for Collace where you will get another downhill section to the junction with the A94, turn right and cycle through Burrleton to Coupar Angus. When you rreach Coupar Angus turn right onto the Dundee Road, once past the Pitcur junction you will be faced with another uphill section back towards Piperdam, (you will pass the Inchture junction that you took on the way out) where you will follow the road back through Birkhill to Camperdown Park
This route is roughly 32 miles, the route is auitable for a road bike, it is on a mixture of busy and quiet roads with hills at Abernyte and coming out of Coupar Angus. Shops available in Birkhill, Burrleton, Coupar Anugs should you need any top ups |
