| 1. A great distance cycle taking in one of Europe's Biggest Wind farms, Starting at Newton Mearns heading down the old Ayr road on the cycle path a steady rise to the wind farm worth having a look in at the visitors centre. (even for a well deserved Cup of Tea an Scone)then head down to Eaglesham stopping to take in some fantastic views on the way down. down through Waterfoot and Clarkston and back on to the Ayr Road turning off at Crookfur road returning to the Greenlaw Village. | |
