Cycle Steps
1. Rolling roads with great views from Brill and Watlington. Not very difficult and although the distance may seem daunting for some it is misleading as the most of it is flat and very good for building up confidence if you are planning to ride in a sportive or race. The only bits of the ride that I would be prepared for is the climb up into Brill that hits a maximum gradient of about 14/15%, however it is a very exciting descent and the steep part of the climb is only a couple of hundred meters. Also a point of recognition is the climb out of Brill as it is quite steep but longer than that going into Brill. But when you get to the top and ride across the top of the hill you will meet spectacular views of Oxfordshire and Buckinghamshire. When in Watlington be careful not to take the wrong road out, you do not want to be taking the road towards Chinnor, but the road which is uphill instead. Thame is a nice town to stop in and has many shops and cafes (such as a Costa) to refuel. However Watlington is also a nice town which you could stop at if it is more suitable for you.
Landmarks/Sites to see?
There is a bike shop in Thame that I know of if you want to visit it or have any problems. It is opposite Costa by a car park which is near the town hall which has a large clock on it and is easily recognisable in the centre of the town.
