| 1. A climbing route for Mountain Bikers fed up of forestry roads and for road bikers who need to try out their low gears.
Only 10 miles or so but don't be deceived there's a lot of climbing involved , if your very fit and go flat out you'll take an hour more realistically allow an hour and a half or preferably two to savour the views and a perhaps a pint.
The views over the river Taff valley towards the Bristol channel and Cardiff facing South are sprctacular and similarily the views North to the mountains of the Rhondda and Cynon areas and further away the Brecon Beacons require some stops to gape at. |
