| 1. Starting at the Petersham Common/Sawyers Hill gate in Richmond park is a flat and fluid ride to Croydon via Raynes Park, Morden and Mitcham. There are a few big roundabouts to contend with, but early on a weekend morning would be no issue. You might also catch the odd red light, but that is a common problem with town cycling. To make it more intersting you could try a lap of Richmond park before you set off which would add 6 miles to the 14 mile ride to Croydon. | |
