| 1. From the built up area of Leigh traveling along the roads towards Winter hill ,crossing over the M61 then up into Horwich then up towards the country lanes up to Rivington Barn.
Then its the steep hill climb over towards Belmont ,with fabulous views .
The route then consists of even more hill climbs as you head towards Blackburn and Chorley .
Once you reach Chorley its the wide road of teh A6 all the way to Westhoughton and then down back to Leigh.
This in all is a nice round 40 mile ride with plenty of hill work and fast descents. |
