| 1. This is a 30 mile loop starting and finishing in Falkland using quiet roads (apart from one very short section on the A91 Cupar Rd) Considering the potential in the area for steep hills most of the hills on this route are well graded.
The route goes north round Lindores Loch and as far east as Cupar before returning to Falkland.
The shortcut through the estate is well used by local cyclists sneaking through quietly without anyone knowing. It is NOT a designated cycle route and is therefore not signed.
If unsure about using it then there is a signed cycle route in Springfield leading to Ladybank but this can be rough, muddy and overgrown.
Otherwise continue past the 'Estate' entrance to T junction with A91. Turn left (passing the Deer Centre again) Take next left at the Bow of Fife and you are back on the route again. |
