| 1. I like this route as it can be easily adjusted, different start points, longer/shorter rides, clockwise or counter clockwise. The important part is the Torquay to Teignmouth coastal road. Undulating roads of varying steepness of hills makes it a good test for beginners. The rest of the route is relatively flat so you are able to give it all on the hills and still get round. Worth mentioning traffic on the coastal road can be an issue so I tend to ride it Sunday mornings or summer evenings. From 7pm onwards its perfect for cycling. |
