| 1. Starting off in Dumbarton head to Helensburgh, then Garelochead, then along Loch Long to Arrochar, then towards Tarbet. There is a cycle path from Tarbet to Balloch along the shore of Loch Lomond. I did it on a cyclecross which was ideal - some bumpy bits, not too bad. If you want to stick to the road, the A82 is pretty wide. From Balloch join the cycle path again, which runs to Dumbarton. Again some bits are quite bumpy, but roads can be used instead if preferred | |
