| 1. A quick circular route taking about an hour. Start and end is at the Studley Green Community Centre. The route takes in Westwood Manor, then Farleigh Hungerford castle, and then cuts down through Tellisford to Rode. The Mill at Rode offers a good river side pint. Cross the narrow bridge, then right turn into Rode village onto Lower Street. At the end, turn right onto Straight Lane, then left up Crooked Lane, and left again onto Parkgate Lane. Carefully cross the A361, then left at the cross-roads and back past Brokers Wood to Southwick, then into Trowbridge and back the centre. |
