1. A nice quite route with little traffic.It has one very steep hill to climb going into little Preston but the gentle rolling roads after that let you get your breath back.The route if ideal for road bikes and hybrid bike.
It takes about a hour and a half at a good pace and the second half of the route is alot quicker than the first.The map shows two ways to go from Preston Capes but it should just show the left hand turn route but the map would`nt allow me to do that. |

Canons Ashby church is a very impresive site on the route as are the elevated views of the open countryside.The route is 24.5 miles
