| 1. This is an undulating road route, mainly on B roads, but with a section of A road and country lanes, that is my bi-weekly exercise. Some of the roads are moderately busy, while others are very quiet and peaceful. There are some ascents and decents (ups and downs), especially on the road between Towton and Lotherton Hall. There is parking in Co-op at Sherburn and there is plenty of road parking at most of the villages along the Route. | |

| No Bike shops but plenty of Pubs! The Boot & Shoe in Barkston Ash is recommended for a pint, while The Crooked Billet in Lead (Near Lotherton Hall) serves good grub. |
